Narrow is operated by Brandthrive, LLC ("Brandthrive"), which acts as the data controller for personal data processed through the Narrow app. This page describes how we collect, use, and protect your data. Last updated: July 2026.
What we collect
- Account info — your email address (and Google profile info if you sign in with Google).
- Your content — the tasks, categories, notes, and chat messages you create in the app.
- Basic usage data — pages viewed, buttons clicked, and error logs, used to improve the product.
What we don't do
- We don't sell your data.
- We don't share your task content with third parties for advertising.
- We don't read your tasks. Automated features (like AI planning) process content only when you invoke them.
How we use it
To run the service, keep you signed in, back up your data, respond to support requests, and improve the app. That's it.
Legal basis for processing
We process your personal data on the following bases: performance of the contract (to provide the Narrow service and your account), our legitimate interests (to secure the service, prevent fraud, and improve the product), consent (where required, e.g. for optional communications), and compliance with legal obligations (e.g. tax and accounting records maintained by our Merchant of Record).
Where it lives
Narrow runs on managed cloud infrastructure. Your data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and at rest by the underlying database provider. Access is protected by row-level security so only your account can read your data.
Subprocessors and data sharing
We share personal data only with the providers required to operate Narrow:
- Paddle.com Market Ltd — our Merchant of Record, which processes all payments, handles subscription management, billing, tax compliance, invoicing, refunds, and payment-related customer support.
- A managed database and authentication provider (hosting your account and content).
- A hosting and CDN provider (serving the app).
- An email delivery provider (transactional email).
- An AI model provider (only when you invoke AI features).
- Professional advisers and authorities, where required by law.
Your rights
You can export or delete your account and all associated data at any time from Settings. Email us if you need help.
